About Michelle Kruse

I studied permanent eyebrows with the internationally acclaimed Beauty Angels Academy, under world renowned Master Instructor, Jenny Huong Claessens.  I started my formal schooling in July of 2025 and completed my 200 hours of coursework with hundreds of additional hours of homework and latex skin practice in November.

I specialize in Powder Brows and Ombre Brows, with Nano/Feather Hyper Realistic Brows and the blended Combo Brow technique and more services (lip blushing, eyeliner, etc.) to come SOON!

Outside of my career, I’m passionate about a variety of things that keep life vibrant and fulfilling. A 35+ year equestrian, I have an enduring love for horses - especially the the Arabian breed.  I work 3 mornings a week as a stable hand at a Dressage barn - which also happens to be my riding discipline of choice.

I also serve on the Board of Directors for The Lucky Foundation, a 501 c3 non-profit supporting Riders with Special Needs, as Treasurer.

When I’m not in the studio or at the stable, you’ll often find me at live concerts of obscure music or cheering on the Milwaukee Brewers.

I also have a deep appreciation for great food and classic Wisconsin experiences, particularly the welcoming atmosphere and timeless charm of Supper Clubs.

Family is at the heart of everything I do. I’m endlessly proud of my adult daughter, who is pursuing her dream of becoming a Pharmacist, and my husband, a skilled welder-fabricator whose craftsmanship and dedication reflect the same values I bring to my own artistry.

I reside in the City of Waukesha

My Story

I was born in Milwaukee, WI and raised in Waukesha where I graduated from Waukesha West High School.

I started riding horses in weekly lessons at the age of 8, which eventually lead me to leasing a horse at the age of 12, and ownership at 13.  I spent my teenage years with my Arabian Gelding Amurath Navaho "Joey" showing in Huntseat, Dressage & Showmanship at Open, 4-H and WAHA Class "A" Arabian Horse shows.  I was also a Hippology & Horse Bowl participant, winning the WI State 4-H Horse Bowl competition twice, and reserve champion another year.  My team competed at both regionals and nationals for Horse Bowl.  Horses have been my #1 passion my entire life and I pride myself in being a nutty "horse girl".

In January of 2011, I opened Brew City Tattoo with my business partner who is one of the most experienced tattoo artists in the Milwaukee area.  I have always been a tattoo enthusiast and have gained an immense amount of knowledge in this partnership about the trade over the last 15+ years.  My administrative partnership duties involve supporting operations within the studio.  We have been awarded the Best of Milwaukee award twice from the Shepherd Express annual competition.

After spending more than 22 years with U.S. Cellular, my corporate role was eliminated in 2025 following a merger. While that chapter closed, it opened the door for me to finally pursue my dream - learning the cosmetic tattoo craft and create a space where art meets beauty and confidence is restored.

To offer clients a truly elevated experience, I chose to locate Inker Belle Cosmetic Tattoo inside the luxurious Spa of Brookfield. This serene, boutique setting allows guests to step away from the distractions of everyday life and enjoy a service that feels both private and indulgent. The calm, welcoming environment sets the stage for a relaxing, confidence-boosting transformation.

At Inker Belle, I am proud to be fully licensed and insured, and I’ve exceeded state licensing requirements by graduating a formal cosmetic tattoo schooling program, and completed advanced Bloodborne Pathogen and Safety training with certification.    Rest assured, any service I choose to offer will be something I'm FULLY educated in.
